Emil is currently developing a new British musical called KIN with his production company Factory Playhouse Productions Ltd. Emil is always on the look out for new musicals to develop so please get in touch if you have an idea!

He is the founder of Emil Dale Academy in Hitchin, just outside of London and is also the co-founder of the talent agency Dale Hammond Associates. Alongside establishing the full and part-time schools of Emil Dale Performing Arts, Emil has also established The Factory Playhouse, a 200 seater theatre, previously a disused factory in Hertfordshire: www.factoryplayhouse.com

Since 2015 Emil has produced & directed over 30 public productions; West Side Story (2015), Oliver (2016) Romeo & Juliet (2016) Grease (2016), Les Misérables (2017), Hairspray (2018), Sweeney Todd (2018), West End Concert at the 02 Indigo in London (2019), In The Heights (2019), Thoroughly Modern Mille (2019) Little Shop of Horrors (2020), Spring Awakening (2021), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (2022), Made in Dagenham (2022), Footloose (2022), Kin a New Musical (2022), Kin a New Musical Other Palace London (2023) The wedding Singer (2023), Disney's Little Mermaid (2023) & is just about to produce a new musical in London November 2023.

Emil trained in Musical Theatre at Arts Educational School in London and started his career as a member of the Nation Youth Theatre and The National Youth Music Theatre of Great Britain. He has appeared in: Hanging Around (National Theatre); St Vetus’ Project (Sadler’s Wells); Fly Floor at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Sondheim 75th Birthday Celebration at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Amy trained at Emil Dale Academy, graduating with a first class honours degree.

Amy has worked for Emil Dale Part-Time since 2018 as well as being the resident Dance teacher at Extend. She is extremely passionate about the ethos of Emil Dale Part-Time and loves the atmosphere in the studios on a Sunday!


Davina Dewrance

Davina Dewrance
Resident Acting teacher, PeeWees teacher

Davina Dewrance has been a resident teacher at Emil Dale for the past 10 years. She has appeared in several commercials most recently staring in Macdonalds Flat White and Jackpot Joy for Loose Women and most recently she has filmed an episode in BBC Not Going Out. With her experience of doing commercial acting along with a play at the Soho Theatre and a feature film ‘Fit’, Davina brings a wealth of knowledge to Emil Dale every weekend.

Dan Slade

Dan Slade
Resident Acting teacher

Daniel trained at Mountview Academy Of Theatre Arts.

He can currently be found touring the UK with the vocal group ‘The Jersey Quartet’ and will be playing Aladdin this Christmas at The King’s Theatre, alongside Boyzone’s Shane Lynch! 

His theatre credits include: Peter Pan in ‘Peter Pan’ (Queen’s Theatre), Ensemble/Aerialist in ‘Trioperas’ (Westend), Aladdin in ‘Aladdin’ (Playhouse Theatre), Ensemble/1st Cover Nanki-Poo in ‘The All Male Mikado’ (UK Tour), Fool in ‘Queen Lear’ (Tristan Bates Theatre), Lead Vocalist in ‘Viva Voce’ (UK/International), Dandini in ‘Cinderella’ (Lyceum Theatre), Lead Vocalist in ‘Somebody to Love – the Queen Concert’ (European Tour), Tenor in ‘The Twelve Tenors’ (Scandinavian Tour), Jack in ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ (Camberley Theatre), Silly Billy in ‘Mother Goose’ (Millfield Arts Centre), Arpad in ‘She Loves Me’ (Rose And Crown Theatre), ‘Naked Boys Singing’ (Charing Cross Theatre, Off Westend), Ferris Weale in ‘Sleeping Beauty’ (The Courtyard Theatre), Peter Pevensie in ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ (The Brewhouse Theatre), Taylor Jones in ‘Stars Falling’ (Key Theatre) and Featured Artist in ‘Sunday Night Live at Her Majesty’s’ (Her Majesty’s Theatre, Westend).

Daniel has also been Lead Vocalist for AIDAaura (AIDA Cruises) and Belinda King Productions (Rotterdam, Holland America).

Workshop credits include: Besso in Relativity, the Einstein musical (Finborough Theatre) and Michael Darling in The Lost Boys (Union and Charing Cross Theatre). 

Television credits include: Witness B in The Lawrence’s (BBC).

Film credits include: Crowd Surfer in Svengali (Root Films). 

Daniel has also been an acting teacher alongside his acting career for 11 years now, which he loves and is very passionate about. Inspiring others inspires him!
