About:
Train once every month (Sundays) at the EMIL DALE ACADEMY STUDIOS only 30 minutes from London Kings Cross on the train. Plenty of free on-site parking. Hitchin is a beautiful market town with plenty of restaurants and cafes for parents to enjoy while they wait.

Ages:
12 - 19 (split into age groups) TIMES: 10:30am - 2:30pm, one Sunday every month during term time.
Who Is This For?:
People from anywhere in the UK who want a professional career in musical theatre, dance & drama. People who want to train all round in all disciplines. Work with people who sit on the audition panels. Train in professional facilities. We want to make our training more accessible to people from all over the UK.
- Assembling some of the most talented young people from all over the United Kingdom, once every month to complement their current training.
- Access to very own talent agency for professional Film, TV & Theatre which members of Assocaites can be considered for. (Optional)
- Train at The Emil Dale Academy Studios & get a feel for all-round training.
- Work on technique in all disciplines at a more advanced level working with the Emil Dale curriculum.
- Make connections with top industry professionals from West End shows, UK Tours, TV, Film. Theatre and the Emil Dale faculty.
- Additional opportunities for private 1-2-1 singing lesson. Optional extra. Limited spaces.
- There is also an option to train for a further 3.5 hours 2:30-6:00pm after the session at Emil Dale Part-Time. Details will be sent to you.

There are a number of local car parks with varying length of stay:

Audition Date & Time:
Auditions are held on a Sunday at 10am ready to start at 10:30am - 2:30pm. The audition is free. There will be a 30 min break.

Audition:
This will be a workshop style audition, which is also a free trial for you. You will take part in an open dance jazz class, ensemble singing class & an acting class. There is nothing to prepare. Our auditions are professional but relaxed & supportive. You do not have to be perfect in all disciplines. We are looking for trainability.
What Do I Wear for the Audition?
Please come dressed in clothing and footwear suitable to dance in.
Food:
Please bring plenty of food, snacks and water. We ask that any food brought in to the premises does not contain nuts. There is a tuck shop on site selling drinks and snacks.

Cost:
£50 per session. Termly commitment. Must commit to 4 sessions.
Uniform:
Students will be expected to wear the Associates uniform. Black leggings or shorts. Jazz shoes. Associate T-shirt & hoodie.
Can I Also Join Emil Dale Part-Time Training
2:30pm - 6:00pm after the session?
Yes! See the afternoon school details school: HERE Many applicants have asked to take part in both. If you are accepted onto the UK Musical Theatre Associate Programme you can take part in a further 5 sessions in the afternoon however the Part - time School is a weekly commitment & there is an additional fee for this.
What Is the Difference Between Associates & Extend:
Extend is for people who are more local to Emil Dale and want additional training weekly instead of monthly.
DBS & First Aid:
Our teachers are DBS checked. There is a member of staff who is first aid trained.
